Song Suggestions

Hey there sisters!! I'm wanting to create a playlist for my phone with songs that will be pertinent to this Made to Crave journey. I would love to hear what song suggestions ya'll have for this!!! I already have Overcomer by Mandissa . . . . but keep 'em coming!!!

I was thinking about doing something like this today. I would include "Move" by Mercy Me

I run for life by Melissa Etheridge
  • I have to have playlist! The worst part of my day is getting out of bed in the morning. The best part is getting my sweat going on the treadmill. I LOVE to start out with and always look forward to Mandisa and TobyMac singing Good Morning! Most of the rest of my songs are TobyMac, and a little Jamie Grace. Group 1 Crew would be good too.
  • Great idea! I have found it much easier the past few days to see my exercise as an act of worship and really rock out the praise music! In addition to Overcomer, I have Shackles by Mandisa, Saved by Third Day, Can't Break Me by Rhett Walker and Your Grace is Enough by Lincoln Brewster. I was definitely looking for more and will check out all of your songs!

My playlist includes the bands: NeedtoBreathe, Kutless, Third Day, Crowder and, of course, Chris Tomlin.

Not M2C related but for running I have "Running on Empty" by Jackson Browne and "Against the Wind" by Bob Seger I don't even know the words beyond that but really cannot be beat at the end of a long run

Forgot to add one yesterday -

Reckless by Jeremy Camp - Such a great song - just don't close your eyes while listening to this song on the treadmill OR any moving workout equipment! Ha! I just about had a reckless encounter with the moving treadmill belt & my face! :) Luckily I caught myself before anything happened! I just get so into my music while I'm working out! haha

I LOVE "Crazy Beautiful" by Chasen! And Jonny Diaz's "More Beautiful You" is another one of my favorites!

i was cleaning my son's room the other day and i was listening to my favorite cd. this song came on and i thought of this post. it descibes my struggles. maybe it can help someone else.

    disciple-draw the line
Another crash, another fall, another failure
Another choice I don't want to remember
    Been here too many times
    Every day's another fight

I'm at war with the person I could be
Give me a chance and I'll mess up a good thing (Romans 7:14-24)
But this is where it ends
Yeah this is where it ends

This is where I draw the line
This is where the old me dies (Romans 6:12-14)
Light a match, let it burn, kiss it goodbye
Giving up, what I was, this is where I draw the line (Romans 6:6)

Another battle I lost fighting solo (John 15:5)
How many times must I learn what I already know
Can't do this on my own
Wasn't meant to fight alone (Philippians 4:13; Romans 8:9-14)

So I'm lifting my hands in surrender (Matthew 16:24-25)
Take my faults and my flaws, make me better
'Cause this is where I end
Right where You begin (John 3:30)

    Set me on fire
Set me on fire (Luke 3:16)
Burn me up, burn me up, burn me all the way
till there's nothing left but You (Hebrews 12:29)
Burn me up, burn me up, burn me all the way
till there's nothing left but You (Malachi 3:2-3)
Set me on fire (1 Peter 1:7)
