tlatrice13, I read that you loved the Dance Fitness class--that's great! You're so lucky to be able to do stuff with your sister and mother. Mine are on a different continent and I really miss them. So, ENJOY!

Marla, sounds like a great time (so, seriously, WHO won the SuperBowl?? I'm totally out of it over here. Who played? haha). Keep letting that toe heal before you ease back in. I know you must miss Nia class though.

Laura, that's outstanding!!! WOW! You've worked so hard, you should be very proud of yourself! Really, WOW!

As for me, I'm taking a rest day today. Muscles really needed the rest this morning, but feeling up for a workout now in late afternoon--unfortunately no time for it now. So, I'll just be checking the weather forecast for a good day to get my weekly run this week and do my workouts around that.

    Have a great one everybody!

I guess I didn't answer thinking it would be all over the net. Seahawks won, and since that's my state and I was in a pub in a college town Bellingham the whole place was rockin, screaming, laughing, clapping, high fiving, the whole night.

Well once again I did the get sick loose weight fast diet...I lost 3 lbs this weekend.

I was good first day and lost what I ate second day and yesterday could barely eat....

Now I just have to keep it off!

Thanks hard to wait but I will. I am thinking end of week to slowly start on treadmill. We are having winter this week with snow and ice outside, temps down to single digits and minus with wind chill.

I was able in my comfy shoes to walk a few blocks without much pain, being sick forced me to rest legs again so today I feel pretty good but going to eat bland for awhile.

Yeah the Seattle Seahawks trounced the Denver Broncos (43 - 8).

I have a body sculpting class tonight - the new class we alternate with Pilates at the office. Last time it was a lot harder than anyone expected!

Just did an hour on the treadmill. I even 'jogged' a little bit and was suprised that it didn't hurt like I thought it would!!! I've just always felt like I was too heavy to run. Who knew?!?!?! LOL!!!!

Hope everyone has a great day!

haha, I finally found out about the big game when I talked to my parents. I spoke to my Mom first and when my Dad got on the phone and asked what i was up to, I said, "Oh just getting my sports news from 'Nana'!" haha They weren't too happy about it. I guess the reason I hadn't heard anything on facebook is because (a) I don't check it as much, and (b) most of my US friends & family are in TN and are big Manning fans, so they weren't talking too much after the game...understandably. I don't get "into" sports anymore, but being where Marla was would have been loads of fun for the game!

    Have a good one.

Shoveled lots of snow. I decided to do my driveway by hand. 45 minutes later finished. I know I will have to do it again tomorrow. Sigh. But at least I burn calories doing it!

Ate too much the other day at super bowl. : ( it was delicious.

Just interesting info. Husband is at a conference in Texas. Staying on the 20th floor. yesterday his fitbit registered over 100 flights of stairs. He has been not using the elevator. I'm proud of him. He has however eaten a huge brownie sunday every evening. At least he is working it off!

If I took the stairs to my 20th floor room, i would want a brownie sundae every night too!

I moved into a new office area yesterday. It's on the third floor in a new building. I was in the second floor of the older building previously. So although I did no formal exercise, I did go up and down the stairs many times, as well as across the parking lot, as I moved things from the one building to the other. Also, the new building is having its cafeteria remodelled, so I went to the old building to get my chilli con carne. Today's soup is Italian Wedding Soup, so I'm planning to go back again today. Tomorrow's is broccoli and cheese soup, so I'll probably bring a meal with me to work.
