Workout plan for the week

What is your plan for the week? Writing things down is a good way to set goals!

Do you have weak areas you want to work on?

My weak area is my water intake. I am always trying to drink more. I get busy with my 3 year old and I forget to drink!

My workout for the week is P90X3. I wake up at 5am and work out before my daughter is awake, so I have 3 more days left for the week.

Excellent Kimfierro, I'm doing the P90X3 program too! I'm in week 8 of the lean option. I find I have to set goals out in front of me in order to continue to workout, run, and exercise. Without the goal races, fitness programs, or fitness achievements, I tend to do nothing. P90X3 has exposed my weak areas, so I focus in improving.

Right now, I'm in the middle of a 100 day burpee challenge. (Day 36). So, like you, I get up first thing and do the burpee count for the day. Feels so good to get that done right off.
  • I would love to do one of those mud runs. That's something I've been thinking about. We may be moving this summer though so I need to figure that out first.
  • Oh and I'm on week 7 of the Classic. I enjoy the program! Before this I did T25 and I loved it!

Back in 2011, at 52, I did a burpee mile. Now, if I get through the 100 burpee challenge without any problems, I'm considering another one. The top Navy Seal fitness instructor said once that the body can do 20x what the mind thinks it can do. I find setting goals, maybe ones that might seem impossible at the time you set them, are a good way to get the mind to believe you can make your goals. But you must take action and go do it, for just saying the right words is not enough.
  • Wow on what your Navy Seal friend said. That's crazy, but I believe it. Did you read Lone Survivor?

No, but looks like one I need to read. Been waiting to watch the movie until I read the book first.

Just like Marathons. I'm sure you've heard it a thousand times, but it's very true. Marathons are 90% mental.
  • Definitely read the book. My husband has seen the movie (Luttrell makes a few appearances) and it's different from the book.
