What exercise do you do ?

I walk in my basement, since the weather has turned cold, but thinking about Pilates. Sometimes i do the 7 minute workout, or a biggest loser workout dvd. Weights always aggravate my neck injury. I've read (but can't remember where) that low intensity is best in ketosis. Anyone able to she'd some light on this ? Or is HIIT the way to go. I do enjoy what I'm doing, and therefore am sticking with it, by the way.

  • It depends on person to person, I would say try it and see if it works. I am training for a half marathon and doing p90x3. I didn't get there in one day, you need to slowly build up and let the body get adapted to burning fat even at higher intensities. My sprinting speed has gone down but my long runs have been great in ketosis. I can run for couple of hours or more on water and got rid of all those gels I had to eat before.I do interval training for 30 min on some of the days with out any problem.
  • It depends on your goals, and what you are used to. I do 5 heavy weight sessions and am doing the c25k program 3 times a week. I just make sure I don't run on a day I train legs. My energy and strength is good.

I started P90X this week, I'm always in ketosis and lost 2.6 pounds already.
