Keto - Wheat intolerance?

I was thinking....and forgive me if this is in any way repetitive. I searched and couldn't find an answer on the forums here. Is it an allergy per se, or intolerance, do you think, that makes us lethargic and sleepy when we consume a carb/bread/wheat diet? I am still in awe over all the clarity and energy I have by deleting it from my diet almost entirely ( well under 20 a day as recommended )

    I'm not sure. I always read/heard that the mental clarity comes from the fact that our brains run better on ketones than glucose. An allergy or intolerance would certainly increase that effect.
  • Beta-hydroxybutyrate (Ketones) is preferred fuel for brain cells, if there are no ketones brain looks for other options like glucose.
