I had a nice walk, but realized that a part of me that I had not intended to work yesterday is very sore today (lower back). I've still got some exercise shuffling to do so that I'm not doing exercises that work the same body parts two days in a row and is still evened out so that it's not 40 min one day and 90 the next.

    How's everyone else's Monday going?

I happily could have stayed in bed this morning. I did register for the lottery for the half marathon I want to run this summer though. I'll find out the week of February 24 if I got in (they limit it to 6700 runners & get a lot more entries than that).

My calves are sore today - not sure if it's from my run on Saturday, the spin bike last night, or a combination of the two. My hips are a little sore too. Trainer session tonight & a short run.

Really exhausted today! Slept through my alarm, which wasn't good, so late to work, which means I won't be able to get out of work early enough to go to water aerobics. There is a half hour class being offered at lunch today called "Quick Tone", so I'm going to go check it out. It's only offered during lunch on Mondays.

We enjoyed the flyball tournament, but it was tiring. Chilly, too, although luckily not as cold as in the mid-west US. It never got above freezing all weekend, which wouldn't be such a big deal as the tournament is inside and normally we'd only have to go out to walk the dogs before and after racing. This tournament however is known for it's poor quality toilet facilities. The indoor one can't deal with the number of people coming to this (quite small actually) flyball tournament, so only the host team can use it and the rest of us have to use the two porta-potties outside in the parking lot. Good point: it doesn't smell as bad as it would in the spring, summer, or fall. Bad points: way too many to mention.

So today, I'll do quick tone and go as quickly as I can up and down 5 floors of stairs at least three times and do body weight exercises and stretches. I'll get the hour exercise in I want to do, but it'll be in bits and pieces.

Laura weird year for us, we normally get most of our snow in Dec and Jan and then it just stays cold like you but this year got one snow end of Nov that stayed because of cold in Dec but by Jan 1st had all melted as it warmed up unseasonably.

Then starting Feb 1 its been snowing a bunch almost every other day. So now we have a lot, normally in Feb we get very little. Like I said weird year!!!

I am hoping to get back to gym or exercising soon, this can't last forever!!! lol
