I've been on MFP for a while but due to life getting in the way I stepped away for a while. I've always been Poly and currently have 5 lovers. Im so happy to find a place where I can be me

Geez where I live there are almost 0 poly people and I've only been lucky enough to find one person interested in the married me in the whole year we've been poly. How do you do it? That's a lot of time if nothing else

It takes its up and downs. Since that last post many things have changed. I have my primary relationship and we are dating 2 other married couples who are also with each other plus others that we aren't seeing. My former primary has realize he can't do poly but is with a wonderful woman who tried to join our family but also had issues. They are amazing together. One of my former lovers moved away with his wife but they now have a triad home. Still friends with another lover but life, work, and family takes up too much time there. The last lover is still a roommate but after this year that will change. He thought he would have become my new primary when my former left our way of life and was sadly mistaken. This caused rifts and when he gets upset with my current primary he uses the argument "You stole my girlfriend". It's sad when things end and people can't communicate properly.
Lots of planning and definitely open discussions are a big thing.
