    Hi All

Feel free to add me, i initially set myself a goal to lose about 35lbs by end November, suppose it doesn't hurt to push for fall time.

    Goal for this week: 1.5-2lbs
    Exercise Goal: 3-4 days/30 - 45 mins

Alittle about myself. I'm 43 and have gained tons of weight in the past 8 years after the birth of my last child. I had originally lost 50 pounds years prior and have slowly gained that back and then some. I hit my highest weight last year and I have been loosing it for the past year. I was thrilled to find this group. Good luck to everyone.

This is the second time I've initiated my weight loss, last year about the same time, I dreaded weighing myself, so I just worked out when I can but didn't really see any results, and then that even eventually stopped. So, I am so tired of not feeling good about the way I look, and told myself this is the year i'll lose all these weight I've accumulated since I moved to another country. I am thrilled that I am finally seeing results, and thrilled to acknowledge the fact that the weighing scale is a necessity, and hopefully, eventually, be my friend. lol

Glad to have found this group. Success to all of us!

When I graduated high school I weighed about 160 but was in really good shape due to playing sports. When I stopped playing/exercising I immediately started gaining weight and throughout college gained about 40 lbs and when I hit 200 lbs I decided it was finally time for me to make a change. I started losing weight pretty fast and within 6 months I was down to 163lbs. Over the summer I hit a rough patch and put about 12lbs back on and am now buckling down to reach my goal weight.

Goal for this week: 2 lbs by next Wednesday

The day of my delivery for my second son I was weighing in at 295 lbs... :(
2 months after having him I had gotten to about 260 lbs... I am currently ranging from 227-231 (I watch the scale waaaayyyy too much...)
I am going to start doing one day a week as an official weigh in so that I am not constantly irritated when I go up and down...
Anyways, I work out 3-5 times a week and am starting a learn to run a 5k program (on week 2 and its def getting easier!)
I hope to find some new motivated friends and learn some new tips.

Goal this week: DRINK MY WATER! I do not know why this is so hard for me, I even bought a pretty pink cup. I am going to drink 1 24 oz cup of water before each meal.

I am looking forward to being part of this group. It will be good to have a place to check in. Just tracking my own weight and not being part of a group is really not doing it for me. I look forward to interacting!

Aiming for 1.5 lb loss per week, every week.

I say GW of 170 lbs because I remember being that weight loooooong ago and I was thin! Big boned and large muscled I am... if I could ever get below that I would be shocked.

WATER and DIET is my main focus right now. I have sensitivities to wheat, eggs, cocoa, aspartame, (these are the big ones for me) so cutting out wheat, diet pop, and chocolate are either going to kill me or make me stronger.

Hope everyone is having a great week. Can you believe we'll be into March by the weekend?!

I really, REALLY, slacked off the end of last week and did not even log 2 of those days cause it was all eating out and drinks with friends, very gluttonous. Sad cause I was like 45 days strong. So cheers to resets and fresh starts!

Goal this week - 2 lbs and I start my exercise challange on Saturday.

Just joined this group today - Hello everyone - glad and excited to be in this group with everyone!

    My Age: 57
    SW 282lbs
    CW 262lbs
GW 200 lbs by the end of 2014
Aiming for 2 lb loss per week, every week and getting my blood sugars in the morning between 80-120 - right now they are between 140-175.
Right now I really need to put my focus on my water intake - I get to 2 glasses and it's hard to get anymore in. I have given up all sodas, juices, and sugar free products. I currently only drink hot tea and water. So I know that I am not getting enough fluids. I am limited to the exercise that I can do, but am really trying hard to build back my strength. So far I think I am on track - just need to keep my focus and reach for that goal. Good luck everyone!

Oh a fellow water struggeler (not sure if that is a word) I have so much trouble getting my water in for the day. I think tea is pretty good though.... And 20 lbs down that is fantastic. good luck and welcome.

Thanks shess72 - I even tried adding some water enhancer and that made it taste terrible - I will just need to fill a pitcher daily of water and make myself finish it before I can go to bed each evening - might be some long nights coming up soon. I know I can do it as long as I put my mind to it and don't lose focus. Why is it so much easier to put it on and so difficult to take it off? I think if we all work together we can do this one step at a time. Good luck to you too.
