IP Crepes and Pancakes - HELP

I have not been able to successfully make either of these packages into anything edible. I hate to waste money on either of these items again, but I keep seeing recipes that use them (already prepared). I would love some tips from anyone who has had success making the IP crepes or the IP pancakes. Thanks!

I haven't even tried them yet. I'm such a creature of habit with my IP food. I usually live on the premade chocolate and vanilla drinks so I can make mochas/lattes with my espresso machine at home. I'm in love with the mushroom soup mix, the caramel nut bars, and the premade chocolate pudding, so that's pretty much all I ever get, ever.
Every now and then I'll come up with something creative but mostly I'm really boring. I suggest looking on Pinterest? There's tons of Ideal Protein boards and one of them might have some good tricks to make them taste the way you want. Good luck!0 -
Are you referring to the Phase I crispy rice cereal pancake? I have made this one twice and it's really good and easy. I haven't tried the pancake with the pudding yet though or the packaged pancake mix.0

Did you check with your clinic or provider to see if they do a trade-in/exchange program? Mine as well as most that I have heard of do.0

I am referring to the packages of pancake mix and crepe mix that you add water to and fry. I have tried more water and less water and I have tried low heat and medium heat. I just get a stuck-on mess. I am using very good Diamond Swiss pans, so I don't believe my pans are the problem.
I have made the pancakes with the pudding mixes and they turn out better - just stay wet inside for quite a while.
Thanks all for the suggestions.0 -
Check out www.idealyouweightloss.com - they have pages and pages of recipes and I guarantee you could probably find something!
I found GREAT recipe for pancakes on there, made from the crispy cereal though, if you're looking for a good pancake!!!
Crush your crispy cereal package, add a dash of cinnamon and nutmeg to it; in a bowl combing 2 egg whites (1/3 cup), 1/4 t. of vanilla and 1/4 t. of baking powder, add your cereal mix with spices in it, mix and cook for about 2 minutes...turns out delicious, just like a normal pancake! I add walden farms blueberry syrup, and it's quite amazing.0
