Cheating before the Cheat Day

I know, there's no excuse for it...BUT I'm sure we all do it. I'm not saying eating a cheat meal or making another cheat day out of the week but eating a cookie here or a brownie there.
I can get wrapped up about being as strict as possible with the foods I CANNOT eat, I end up stressing myself out. I suppose as long as I don't let it snowball, I'll be fine.

I think it's probably more about how it impacts you mentally. If you get thrown off course by being super obsessive or perfectionistic, then it makes sense to cut yourself some slack. If you know that having a cookie here and there is a slippery slope to a pit of cookies then better not have the cookie. I have only been doing this slow carb thing for a week, so I don't know much yet, but I do know that I can get all obsessive and that is my undoing.1
