    Hey Guys!

So it is already the 17th here in my part of the world (26 year old Mexican living in Tehran). I just finished the fit test and I have my day one results. This is my first time doing anything like this so they aren't very impressive. But I will do my best to improve and hopefully with the support of this group I will do all 60 days.

    SK: 49
    PJ: 18
    PK: 40
    PJ: 16
    GJ: 6
    SJ: 10
PuJ: 28 (these were knee push ups. I can barely do a regular push up. I would hurt myself if I did the push up jacks)
    PO: 20

    Good morning!!!

    Insanity Day 1!

I'm a little rusty, so be nice! :) No real workout in about 2 years...

    Switch Kicks: 39 each leg
    Power Jacks: 25
    Power Knees: 32
    Power Jumps: 10
    Globe Jumps: 5
    Suicide Jumps: 4
    Push Up Jacks: 9
Low Plank Oblique: 12 each leg

Not exactly sure this is the way to record this (ea leg or total?).

    PLENTY of room for improvement.

I'm proud of myself... for me getting up and starting is the hard part. Now to get through the rest of my day, 'cause I'm beat already.

    Have a great day!!

    Steph

You guys are awesome! I'm doing my fit test after work, but before dance so hopefully I'm not too dead.

Hi I'm really happy I found this group, hopefully it will help me keep motivated so I finish the 60 days. I have done 3-4 days of insanity last week but decided to start over today so I could do it with everyone here :)

    Switch Kicks: 75
    Power Jacks: 26
    Power Knees: 47
    Power Jumps: 20
    Globe Jumps: 4
    Suicide Jumps: 9
Push Up Jacks: 8 (I can't do pushups haha!)
    Lower Plank Ob: 26

I pushed myself really hard on the switch kicks and I was exhausted for the other exercises.... Hopefully I will do better next time!
    Congrats everyone for your results!

Ok, here are my results (she types with sweat dripping down everything!)

    Switch Kicks: 50
    Power Jacks: 52
    Power Knees: 88
    Power Jumps: 33
    Globe Jumps: 9
    Suicide Jumps: 16
    Push Up Jacks: 23
    Lower Plank Ob: 24

I really don't like those last 2 exercises, I had pretty poor form :). I think I will be sore tomorrow...

BTW, I got an ap that I am using to track - Insane Tracker - in case you don't want to do the paper and pencil method

    Good luck!

I didn't do the fit test, I just went straight into working out! First workout done! It was awesome!

I'm going to do the fit test after work. Then tomorrow I'm going to try to do the first day work out before work (which will be a challenge since this means I'll have to get up around 5!). Has anyone else ever done it that early- will it be harder just waking up? I like working out in the morning. I feel like after work I'm drained from the day and find the only exercises I want to do are brainless things like eliptical
  • I just completed Day 1 Fit Test:

    Switch Kicks: 68
    Power Jacks: 41
    Power Knees: 66
    Power Jumps: 27
    Globe Jumps: 7
    Suicide Jumps: 12
    Push Up Jacks: 18
    Lower Plank Ob: 50

Not a fan of the power jumps or push up jacks.

Now to start my day and hopefully land this job interview in the afternoon. Good luck to everyone!

Here is my Fit Test Results:

    Switch Kicks 29 each leg
    Power Jacks 27
    Power knees 50
    Power Jumps 22
    Globe Jumps 9
    Suicide Jumps 8
    Push up Jacks 8
Low Plank Olique 14 each leg

I didn't count any that I did with improper form, but these numbers are pretty low, hopefully I'm better by week 3's fit test!

    Fit test results:

    Switch kicks: 61
    Power jacks: 43
    Power knees: 80
    Power jumps: 42
    Globe jumps: 9
    Suicide jumps: 13
    Push up jacks: 18
    Low plank oblique: 23/46

The push up jacks I didnt manage to get all the way down on all of them as my arms were shaking so should probably count that more as 9 rather than 18!

    Good luck everyone! :-)

    Power Jacks: 36
    Power Knees: 57
    Power Jumps: 26
    Globe Jumps: 7
    Suicide Jumps: 9
Push Up Jacks: 1 (I can't do any type of push-up to save my life)
    Low Plank Oblique: 36

Congrats on pushing play everyone! I am on Wk 2 Day 1 with the strength and power DVD. There are so many pushups I get the feeling I will be doing them on my knees for a while. I am so pumped for tomorrows pure cardio workout, it's my favorite so far. Good luck tomorrow everyone!

    Switch Kicks- 30
    Power Jacks- 30
    Power Knees- 55
    Power Jumps- 12
    Globe Jump: 4
    Suicide jumps: 6
    Push up jacks: 10
    Low plank obliques: 13

Globe Jumps are my least favorite. Extremely glad that I pushed myself not to find an excuse to NOT start, but man do I feel like crap!!! I remembered to go at my own pace from the last time I started the program. Apparently the pace I thought I was comfortable with was not happy with me. My stomach feels pretty icky right now. Drinking some cocnut water and about to make a PB&J for recovery.

Way to go everyone!!!! Until tomorrow.

I'm at work and don't have my results on me. I'll post them tomorrow. I completed the fit test yesterday and today I did the first workout. I got up at 5:30 a.m. to do it. I'm quite happy with myself, that I was able to get up that early and that I did the whole first workout. But I need to push myself harder, I also need to figure out how to make my shoes or floor less slippery. It's not too bad but it makes the plank type moves really difficult to do. And they're already really difficult. Here's to getting up early tomorrow!! Good luck to everyone and the people who are getting up early to do it (because that is really difficult for me).
  • Hey Jade, I'm guessing you didn't eat before working out? How did you find it? I like working out in the morning, but a bit worried about doing this particular work out on empty stomach - don't want to faint or I won't be found until 9 am when my BF gets up ;)

  • Hey yall! I started a day later, so I will be a day late for the first 6, but I will get back on track with the days, one way or another (maybe doubling up on Recovery day). Here are my FT1 results:

    PJ: 23

BTW.... if you have Android, look up the app "Insanity Tracker." It is an app that tracks all your data for INSANITY, including a checkoff list, and schedule.
