I'm reading The Leftovers by Tom Perotta. It is very interesting to see the primary family's dynamic after the "Incident".

The best new book I've read is actually a seafood cookbook. It's For Cod and Country: Delicious, Sustainable Cooking by award-winning young chef, Barton Seaver. It's more than cookbook though. I have a ton of cookbooks, but this is one where I might actually make the recipes. He provides background info on making healthy, sustainable seafood choices as well as easy cooking techniques and the recipes are all sorted seasonally. I liked the book enough to buy it.

I just finished Kate Locke's "The Queen is Dead" trilogy - good stuff! Quick reads and fun!
  • Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs. It was amazing I've read it twice now.

I've read a couple of books by Richard Paul Evans. I've never been disappointed.
