Walk 30 Miles Challenge

With this challenge, you simply log how many miles you walk in a day for an entire month, and then tally it up to equal 30 miles, or more. Happy walking!!

    I am taking on this challenge starting today, February 20- with a twist. My goal is to complete 30 miles on the elliptical in 30 days. I know I can easily do this, as it only takes about 10 minutes for a mile. I use the interval program on the machine - switching between level 4 and level 8. The true challenge is to make sure I go to the gym daily. I am also doing strength training, and throwing in some swimming, just for fun. My fiance and I recently joined the YMCA, and have been taking full advantage of it.

    Day one - Feb 20 - 1.29 miles this morning (before work! I would like to add. ha ha :smile: )

    Ran around my neighborhood today. Ended up running by my old apartment, and walking/jogging a total of 3 miles!

    Day one - Feb 20 - 1.29 miles
    Day two - Feb 21 - 0.88 miles
    Day three - Feb 22 - 3.0 miles :)

    Day five - Feb 24 - 0 miles. I did yoga instead
    Day six - Feb 25 - 0 miles. I did a fitness intervals class at the ymca. It was intense - but great.
    Day seven - Feb 26 - 0 miles. Rest day.

    Going to the gym tonight to do another class. I plan to use the elliptical to get my mile in for the day.

    Day eight - Day eighteen Mar 9 - 18: 6.14 miles Had a lot going on this week and I was very busy at work. Getting back on track now though :)
