Here it is, two months into my weight loss, and am down some pounds, feeling pretty good about myself. I knew that I needed to do it, take those dreaded half naked pictures of myself.
Yesterday I did it, and I was shocked to say the least. I feel terrible, ugly, gross, unlovable, disgusting and why would anyone ever want to hug me or love me. That is what I REALLY look like? REALLY??? Holy smokes.... that is awful.
Have I been this disillusioned with my appearance that much?
Can someone please tell me again, Why did I needed to do this? Because it isn't motivating me, It is just plain depressing.

There will come a time, in the very near future, when you think to yourself, "I've lost 50 lbs and I can't see it." Then you can take new pics and compare it to your old ones and BAM! 50 lbs lost and in a tangible format. I didn't take half naked pics. I love my body and take pictures of myself often. Even at my largest weight, I've always taken pictures. Anyway, I found one from a week before I started and that's my starting picture. Then when I lost 50 lbs, I put that same dress on and took another picture. I could totally see a difference. I'm planning on doing it again in 13 pounds.
Be nice to yourself & your body. Say loving things to yourself and you'll start to feel love for your body. AND...it's changing! Being fat isn't permanent. We're making changes! Woohoo!!! That's something to celebrate! I'll go get my camera! :-)0 -

I started taking progress pics about a month into losing weight. I think I still look like a blob, but when I compare my pictures now to November, I can see I am slightly less blobish. I am looking forward to looking back in a years time and saying 'Is that even me?'0

Trust me I know that feeling all to well... its very eye opening.. BUT you have to take them.. I’m so glad I did because that gave me MORE motivation and it allowed me to put it side by side with a current picture to see what losing 80 pounds looks like When I couldn't see the weight loss in myself I took out that picture and was shocked in a good way
Just know that you won't look like that forever, you're working hard to change your lifestyle and be kind to yourself.. I know it’s hard but the world is hard enough without someone being mean to themselves all the time
You got this! Keep fighting!
