Ok, I have a question. When it comes to workouts what do you find more pleasure in doing? Is it cardio? Is it strength training? Is it more for peace in something like yoga? I did not really discover strength training until two years ago. I think I was more scared of it and would not give it a try. I finally caved in and have to say the days that I have on my calendar for strength training are days I really enjoy. I like to see the definition you get with strength training.

Right now, I like yoga the best. I love to see how I get more and more flexible and even though it can be tough sometimes, it's not that draining as cardio or strength training. I think a combination will be the key (for me), but while I have to push myself to do cardio/strength, I really look forward to do some yoga every day0

For me, I don't really have pleasure in workouts but I do cardio, strength training etc as a necessity for a healthy life style. Its not been easy but I've been pressing on and staying strong. I have so much difficulty in push- ups. I don't know why I can't get past just 10. Its not been easy at all but its paying off for me. I lost 3lbs this week so I'm happy I'm now in my 170's. God is good to me0

I like the kickboxing circuit I do. It combines strength and cardio together and I get fulling workout. Plus since I get to do some punching it allows me to release any built up tension that I may have for the day. I go away feeling "at peace" :laugh:0

Yoga helps you in so many ways. It helps calm you down after a hard day. It sharpens your focus. It helps with digestion. It helps with balance and many more. I too, enjoy my yoga days.0 -

That's great news on the weight loss. Congrats. As for the push ups you will get there. I never thought I would be able to get past ten either and I have. As your core strengthens you will notice you can do more. When you are getting tired give yourself a break for a second. Breath through each push up and do not hold your breath. We often times hold our breath when we start to struggle. That does not help. I close my eyes and breath in deep breaths and exhale. You can do it.0 -

I too love kickboxing and did not discover how much I enjoyed it until I did Les Mills Combat. I felt so good after these workouts. It also released that built up tension I carried throughout the day.0 -
