So I am starting C25K for the 2nd time on March 1st. I have been running here and there, so I haven't completely stopped so I might start at week 3. We will see though. I have a 5K mud run that I want to complete on May 24th so that is my goal. I am also going to be doing Jillian Michaels Body Revolution as well. If anyone wants to join me that would be great! Good luck everyone!

I'm starting a C25K this week too. I've got a dog and friend (in human form here in town!) who are going to be joining me. There is a 5K in early June that I'm aiming for, so I'm on a longer 12-week program. I actually ran a 5K back in 2008, but since then have again become a lethargic couch potato. Aside from sporadic dog walking (or snowshoeing, here in snowy Maine) I really haven't done much at all in terms of exercise. I'm trying to turn that around.
My goal is to do the walk/run programs on Monday, Wednesday, Friday with this Monday 3/3 as my first day. I'm hoping to do yoga or some regular strength work (push ups, crunches) on the other week days, and get a longer hike/snowshoe in on the weekends.
Lets cheer each other on & report on our progress here to try to keep ourselves accountable & motivated!!!0 -
Good luck to both of you. Ive just started on Week 8. Never ran longer than 30 seconds before I started the programme and can now run for 30 minutes straight. Can only manage 4k in 30 minutes but will work on increasing my speed in the next few months.0

Well I started Saturday, but I am actually on a C210K plan. I did day one with no problem so I will probably jump to week 2 today since Tuesday, Thursday and Saturdays work better for me. Good luck smcdaniel9506 it will be worth it! And thank you for the encouragement nh38318!0
