Week 1: 167 lbs.
Week 2: 167.4 lbs.
Week 3: 167.6 lbs.
Week 4: 167
Week 5: 164.2
Week 6: 164.0
Week 7: 163.4
Week 8: No check in
Week 9: 163
Week 10: 166.8
Week 11: 163.2

So I started eating more and a flat amount throughout the week based on average exercise and was up almost 4 lbs. last week. It was also that time of the month, so I knew a lot was water gain. Slowly coming back off. I am enjoying the increased flexibility in my calories consumption and am feeling pretty good about my exercise -- I've started training for a half-marathon (my first) in early June.

Hope everyone has a great week.

  • Great job, Anna!
I had some craziness this week and didn't finish my diary some days and didn't exactly eat perfectly. I hate that I am still not sticking with it when my schedule gets thrown off. It never deters me from exercise. Have a good week everyone!

A loss of 0.2 lbs this week. Well I was hoping for more but its probably water weight that is holding me back this week. Since I have increased my workouts both in time and intensity.

Great job to everyone this week!!!

    SW: 167.2
    Last week: 164.8
    This week: 163.2

    Total: -4 lbs
This week exercise minutes: 89 (I'll work out today to try to bump it up to 150)

So I've been too lazy to copy and paste every week like the rest of you have been doing but I went back through and looked today... I had been thinking my challenge starting weight was 170 but it was actually 167.2 and then I went back up to nearly 170-

Which is a bummer. Means I have really only lost 4 pounds in ten weeks. I'm a little frustrated by how slow it's been this year so far. I mean, I lost 16 pounds from October to December last year. I need to go back and look at what I was doing then and see what I'm doing wrong now.

I wrote that before I saw that there are several of you around the same weights/losses, so I'm sorry for complaining- I guess I got a little spoiled from my previous momentum!

It's alright to let your feelings out with us meowlymary. I feel the exact same way as you do. I was losing weight quite easily before the holidays and so far this year I've barely lost anything. You just have to keep going and working hard. I keep playing with my foods trying to increase my nutrition to be eating healthier while not being hungry all the time. Plus I keep changing my workouts so I can start toning up more. So I'm pretty sure with all those changes that is making me not lose weight like before.

    SW 153 pounds
    CW 150 pounds

    Exercise 180 minutes

Ditto on the frustration like everyone else. It has been very hard to concentrate and stick to logging each thing I eat. Why was it easier the first three months? Didn't lose or gain this week. But have joined a gym and hoping to get more workouts.
Great job to all who have continued.

First, lharri, congrats on maintaining! I think this thread needed some good news, haha. That's awesome.

Thanks to everyone else for commiserating. I'm glad I have this group for support. We'll just have to keep trying!

I too have slowed down a lot on my loss. Was doing great until December hit. On the other hand, I haven't gained and I am still my lowest in years :-) I also think as one gets closer to a regular, healthy weight, the loss is slower. I don't mind if the last 10 lbs. come off slowly ... as long as they come off eventually! Kudos to all who are sticking with it.

Wow lharri, you are smoking through the challenge! Congrats on meeting your goal!

I hear the rest of you on the frustration of losing slowly. Except I didn't have big loses before and just slowed down, my loss has been slow the whole way. But that's ok. Slow and steady wins the race (I just watched Sesame Street, lol ).

Congratulations Iharri! Amazing loss and best of luck to you. 77 pounds lost is a wonderful achievement and you should be extremely proud.
