16+1: 156.8
17+1: 157.0

23+1: 167.2 (+1.6 from last week)
24+1: 169.6 (+2.4 from last week)
Total Gain So far: 12.6 lbs
GOAL: Only gain 25 Lbs during pregnancy.
I'm halfway through my weight gain and i'm getting nervous that 25 lbs isn't reasonable anymore. I did eat a TON of sugar this weekend and we ate several meals out. I really NEED to get back to the gym this week.0 -
I am just about 6 months now and have gotten back to my prepregnancy weight as of this morning.
On one hand, looking at just prepregnancy to now, there is no cause for concern because according to that method of 'measuring' I haven't gained anything.
On the other hand, I dipped down in weight in the first 4 months of pregnancy because of morning sickness. I lost 17lbs and just starting gaining 8 weeks ago. So, as you can see, this means I have gained 17lbs in 8 weeks!
I am not too concerned with where I sit now, but I hope the rate of weight gain slows a little - I think I have gained quite a bit fairly quickly.0 -

Total gain so far: 15.4lbs ... thankfully the weight gain has slowed ... I have been walking almost daily since seeing the maternity doctor at 24 weeks (aside from the last 5 days fighting off a cold instead) and making sure to drink lots of water every single day.
Hoping to get back to daily walks this week ...0 -
Nice job Amy! I too am hoping to get back to daily exercise again this week!0
-
Yes Amy,you are really doing good!
Bburg, even I am worried to cross the 25lb mark:-(.lets keep walking and see if this stalls a bit in another couple of weeks!0 -
Just realised that 25 pounds is only 11 kilos which is the low end of those who have a healthy BMI.. not that I am in the group!! haha 5-9kgs for me 11-19 pounds.
I am exercising daily now so I am looking forward to seeing what the scales say this Friday, I had a eating blow out prior to this as staying at a friend house.0 -
Every time I go walking, I feel nasty afterwards. Everything gets all tight and then I hurt. I think I need to just do regular walkign instead of trying to power walk.0

Well I didn't even gain a lb this week which is GOOD. DH and I didn't go out to eat at all, and cooked at home. I also didn't have any chocolate or sugary crap. Hopefully this will be the answer.0 -

That is already out the window for me Hit 200 this morning.0 -
Justanother...I am on par with your weight gain! I'm just going to have to diet when the baby comes. Such is life:/0
-
I'm going on a diet anyway! I was a bit overweight when I got pregnant. I still had 10 lbs I wanted to lose.. now i'll have 30. Hopefully i'll lose 20 with the baby though. LOL.0
-
I'm trying to not freak out about the weight gain. The point is to have a healthy baby of course, but it's so stressful to see that number creep up and up every day. I don't think I'm going to be able to manage staying below the 200 mark either, tiggerhammon. When I'm averaging 4-6 lbs every three weeks I'll likely get super close by week 30. My only hope of staying below is delivering prematurely... which I most definitely do NOT want to do!
Dieting after baby comes it is! (I did still have about 20-30 lbs left to lose before I got pregnant so I will still have to diet either way. I agree MAMA, such is life...0 -
Hi all, i am gaining wt really fast and i am scared abt it..
Pre-pregnancy : 137.7 pounds(i couldn't lose much wt from my first pregnancy which was in 2011)
7th week : 132.2 pounds
12th week : 132.2 pounds
15th week : 134.8 pounds
20th week : 145.5 pounds (rapid increase in 5 weeks.)
total gain :13.5 pounds. Does anyone have experience like me? In my first pregnancy i didn't gain much weight till 20 weeks then there was rapid increase but now i have already gained 13 pounds .i am just scared how much i am gonna gain later.0 -
That 20 wk mark seema to be a bugger for everyone.
I did the same as you, actually even more. My 20week weigh in, I was up 12lbs!
I have been watching and it seems that most everyone gains the most around week 20.
Try not to stress it so much, just make sure you keep eating (healthy of course) and keep moving.0 -
I gained 17 lbs total by 20 weeks. If you're concerned about it talk to your doctor. Although I'm sure it's fine as long as the weight gain wasn't solely from pizza and ice cream.0

Did really well last week and only gained a little over half a lb. This week I gained 2. But I ate a lot of heavy foods yesterday and had a lot of gluten free brownies this past week. I'm hoping to slow the gain down again this week. My goal is to ONLY gain 5 lbs or less this month since my doctors weren't happy with my 9lb gain in between my last two appointments. Gotta get better.0
