NROLFW please help me figure out the workout

I bought the recommended book, NROLFW, read it and got most of it except the workouts. I don't understand the whole stage one where is says workout 1,2,3,4. Where is workout one spelled out for you, workout 2 etc.. I feel silly asking this but I just want to get started already.
If anyone can shed some light on this, please help!

There is a group on MFP called "New Rules of Lifting For Women (NROL4W)" that I joined when I was trying to figure out the program. They will do a better job than me trying to explain it.
Don't worry - it only seems complicated at first. Once you get through the first workout, the numbers and letters make sense.
It was the first weight lifting program I tried and I LOVED it! I hope you enjoy it, too!0 -
