Btw I am new to the group... HI!

I had the VSG surgery on 01/31/2014 and I have yet to have my period, is this normal? last period I had was 01/09. Not really concerned about pregnancy cause I have had that checked just wondering if I should be worried :P

This has come up in the topics before, and I think the short answer is yes. Of course everyone is different.
Check out this thread for a few more experiences people have had.

Of course if you're worried about it talk to your doctor
  • Thanks Jena :D
  • I think with periods and with WLS there is NO rule! Body just does what it wants!

Welcome to the group! Glad to have you here!

As far as periods go, I agree, every single person is different on this. WLS seems to really mess with that. Some people have them constantly, some not at all, some are off track, etc. Me, on the other hand, have never had mine be on a normal schedule, but ever since surgery they are. I'm weird I guess ;)
