What's the "least worst" thing?

Need a suggestion. Sometimes I plan poorly and end up on the road without an IP food product with me. If I absolutely *have* to what's something y'all would suggest I get at a convenience store when I'm STARVING and don't have an IP food available? Jerky? Pork skins...no carbs, but not the most healthy snack. Nuts? An apple? I know none of these are "allowed" so it's considered a cheat, but I'm looking for something better than scarfing down a bag of Cheetos.

thanks!

I would skip the convenience store if at all possible and find a grocery store then check the produce section for ready to eat jicama sticks, celery, radishes, English cucumbers (anything you can eat without peeling/chopping/cooking). As far as "least worst", maybe a hot dog if you can find one that is low fat (turkey) and/or nitrite-free. You can always find bottled water. You have no where to carry a drink mix packet?

I have some of the soy crisps in my glove box (BBQ). Also, if I HAVE to hit a convenience store I have seen pre-cooked, pre-peeled hard boiled eggs in the deli case that gives you a quick 4oz. of protein.

You're doing awesome. Hang in there. I just hit 3 weeks! Officially a habit now. 15.5 lbs down! woo hoo!
