If you are currently not adding yoga to your workout program I would suggest doing so. it's so important that you place it on a day that your body needs it the most. Yoga has so many benefits. It helps calm you down after a hard day at work, it helps with digestion, concentration, balance, and so many more. I look forward to my yoga days and they always fall on the day my body needs it the most.

It's on my schedule for once a week. Pilates is also on my schedule for once a week as well. If you need it more than that then go ahead and do it. There is nothing saying you cannot do more of it.

I have ben meaning to try it. I have heard a lot of people say how much they enjoy it and how relaxed they feel. My daughter has asked about doing it. So we both got ourselves yoga mats and going to start doing it. I even found a yoga for kids that I thought we'd try for our first time. Also it will be nice to have something else we can do together. Before long she is going to hit that age that its not cool to hang with mom. Do you have any DVDs you'd suggest?

    Melissa,

Tony Horton has a yoga workout called Ho Ala ke Kino. It's not geared towards kids, but I assure you she can do it. There is modification with everything even in yoga. Tony will help guide you through the whole process. Also, there is a workout that Shaun T does called Shaun Ts Fit Kids® Club and that is geared towards kids and I know would be a great program because he's so motivational. Both of these are not expensive at all. Look it up in your beachbody account and let me know if you have any questions ok. That's so great that your daughter wants to be involved. You are setting a great example for her. Way to go mom.

I've never tried yoga. It seems boring to me. I don't know if i'll like it. Is there anything like yoga for beginners?

    I love yoga :flowerforyou:

I started in january and it helped me a lot. At was a great start with picking up my exercise routine and increasing it slowly.
I am using the app "Daily Yoga", there is a premium membership available, but there are also lots of free programs. I can only recommend it, it's also for beginners!

I can't wait to get more flexible and it is great for relaxation. I enjoy it.

Give yoga a try just once and I am certain you will like it. There are plenty of beginner yoga DVD's out there to chose from. I thought the same thing before trying it and I am telling you what. I have never felt so calm and relaxed after a workout. I also noticed it helped with my balance and flexibility with all of my other workouts. There are so many benefits of adding yoga to your workout schedule. I do it at least once a week.
