Happy Friday everyone. We are approaching the weekend. We have all worked hard this week staying on track and meeting our health and fitness goals. Today is my cheat meal day and I am looking forward to it. Allow yourself a cheat meal this weekend if you have not already done so, but remember it's only a cheat meal not a cheat day. Tomorrow will be a new day and you will get back to eating clean. Have a great weekend everyone.

That's a nice idea but I had several cheat days this week :( So I'll keep this for next week, I was planning to go drinking a cup of coffee and I'll propably take a piece of cake or a muffin with it :flowerforyou:

My problem is keeping it to just a cheat MEAL and not an all day eat everything and anything you want all day. The scale showed that today. :frown: I have to really focus to not allow it to happen so I am really going to have to stop the cheat days/meals for awhile until I can have better control. I did notice that a shirt that use to fit me real snug didn't today. I was able to put it on without having to stretch it out first. :ohwell: Debating on having my husband hide the scale from me for a couple weeks because that is another problem. I at least have been able to keep myself from stepping on it everyday. I have really got to get back on track. I feel I haven't exactly fallen of the wagon but dragging behind, holding n with one hand.......if that makes since. Trying not to let my subconscious tell me I am failing, but that I CAN do this......I WILL do this and succeed!!

Look at yourself as a work in progress. You will have bad days. We all do. You are human. Yes, hide the scale and go by how your clothes are fitting. Weigh yourself every 30 days. The scale can kill someone's self confidence and all the hard work you have already put in. Smile at yourself when you look in the mirror and remember how much weight you have already lost. You have done something so wonderful so far. Keep up the great work.

As for the cheat meals. Yes, I would agree to cut those out for right now. Focus on staying on track and eating clean for the next few weeks. Once you have done that then treat yourself. Something that helps me stay focused on my day that I have a cheat meal is eating clean the majority of the day and then looking forward to my dinner or dessert being my cheat meal or treat. Make your cheat meal either your first meal of the day or your last. And once you have eaten it focus on eating clean the rest of the time.

I have faith in you that you can do it. You have come a long way my friend.

Yes, then focus on eating clean the rest of the weekend. Try eating clean for an entire week without any cheats and see how you feel. This can be a little challenging when you have had several cheat days, but once you are focused you can do it. I know you can do it. You are staying accountable and that is so great.
