Hi guys,
Just looking for some advice. I am having a lot of trouble avoiding chocolate, i just ate 5 choc coated ice creams, yes... 5, which were most definitely not low carb. I have found a low carb dark chocolate that i like but it only comes in 100g packs and i always end up eating the whole thing in one day. Is there any tips for beating this without giving up chocolate all together or am i just delusional?
Thanks for reading

I used to be like that with ice cream. I just went cold turkey, it was tough first two weeks . After 3 weeks , I didn't even crave for any more.0

How about something like these?

My gf loves them and it helps her chocolate sweet tooth. I don't know if it fits induction or any of that, but it has something like 7 net carbs or so per bar.0 -
If you want ice cream with a little chocolate taste check out fat boy jrs. They are little vanilla ice cream sandwiches that come in a box of 6. They have a carb count of 16 grams. All are individually wrapped so maybe you wont have the urge to open the rest.0

Breyer's makes carb-smart ice cream options. I have tried both the chocolate and vanilla ice cream...yum! Only 4g net carbs per serving. They also make chocolate covered vanilla ice cream bars0

If you have self control issues with chocolate, you should avoid it except in circumstances where your access is limited. If you only have access to the amount you wish to eat, you can only eat that much.
It may be best to avoid it for a few months. Then, when you have it again, you'll probably find that smaller amounts satisfy you. Everyone is different though. If you can't control your intake of something, and you want to limit/stop consuming that thing, it may be best just to give it up except as a very, very rare treat.0 -
Have you tried looking up an recipes for some chocolatey, low carb treats?
You could make a mousse with some heavy whipping cream, cocoa powder, vanilla and stevia. Maybe top it with a strawberry to add that sweet/tart crunch if you like texture. I know it hits the spot for me and definitely fills me up!
It's just important not to dwell on the past. Everyone makes mistakes and your will power will definitely improve0 -

Thats is good if you can stick to serving size. If you can't its a whole different story.0 -
Fat bombs help with my chocolate cravings. I keep them in the freezer so they are like frozen candy...yum! These are not something you can find in the store. Take a little time to google some recipes.
Before discovering fat bombs I would make sugar free chocolate pudding with unsweetened almond milk.
Good luck!0 -
If I buy something in a larger pack, I weigh it out into smaller bags and then put them out of the way where I can't see them. If I want one I just take 1 bag.
With chocolate I break it up into smaller pieces and stick it in the freezer. It lasts longer and it might mean you only need a smaller amount.
It does depend on your level of control, it you can't do small don't do it at all. There are some things that don't make it into my house as I know once I start eating them I cant stop.
