And you've been counting, and counting and then someone interrupts and says something that throws you off and you have to start over?

That's how it feels when you get a period after a while of not having one.

C'est la vie! :flowerforyou:

I know exactly what you're talking about. I just had a 63 day cycle. Well, hello there, friend! Missed you last month (just kidding!).

    grrrrr.

I had an 80 something day cycle not long ago. My last "period" was scant and brown. I was so hopeful. This month was about 40 days and then BAM.

The pattern for me lately is a night or two before my period starts I get the night sweats. I haven't missed one completely yet just varying numbers of days from 16 to 36.

The joys of being a woman!

Yup. A night or two before I don't sleep and I sweat like crazy. Mine are between 12 and 80.

80 days that must be frustrating when it arrived!

How do you feel when you go so long without menstruating? Do you get bloated or gain weight?

    Thanks

When it happened before, yes, I sorta felt PMSy the whole time. This time, since adding bio-identical estriol (in addition to the bio-identical progesterone) no. It felt normal. And then bam.

Needless to say I am actually on at the moment and feeling quite disgruntled, bloated and well actually fat..... have gained a pound in weight for each of those months that i did not have to cope with it........ OK rant over.
