Where Is Everyone?

Where did everyone go? I hope you are all doing well and are on track with both your health and fitness goals. How have you all been doing? Is there anything you would like to share with the group? It doesn't have to be fitness or health related. Anything that brought a smile to your face this week?

A very dear friend of mine told me this week, that she is very proud of me and my progress.
That made me very happy :flowerforyou:

And I was so happy when I was inline- skating this monday. Normally, I go for a round of 12km, which takes up 40-45min. This time I went for overwhelming 27km in 90 minutes. My legs are sore until today, but it doesn't matter at all :drinker:

I am still here as you saw with a reply earlier to your meditation post  For the rest of you I have been down sick with bronchitis and a sinus infection, no bueno!! But I am feeling better today. Can breath a little easier and going to start back at my workouts. Slow at first because once my respiration goes up my breathing is still difficult and go into a coughing fit. Little steps is better than nothing!

I'm still here too. I've just been disappointed with myself lately. I was almost giving up. I usually eat well during the week but I don't know why I can't help over eating over the weekends. Also, when i measure myself, there's no inches lost but on the scale, I'm losing.
  • I am doing well......slow but progressing. I keep at it the best I can amidst the continually distractions. The counting calories has been really helpful, especially for the mindless eating that comes about at 3. I have really learned to limit there. I have been trying to get stronger and more intense with the tabata exercise and toning exercises. Thank you for checking in.

I seem to have reached a bit of a plateau with my weight for the last two weeks and haven't lost anything (probably just water weight so not too concerned), still I'm pleased with the 8lb I've lost so far.

You have the right attitude. Yes, small steps. If you need to take a break for a minute during your workout then take it.

Here is the theory I live by. I do not go by what the scale says. I go by how my clothes fit. If they are feeling looser then I know I am moving in the right direction. Weigh yourself every 30 days. Put that scale away once you weigh yourself and try not to be tempted to look at it again for 30 days. Scales are peoples worst enemy when you are trying to lose weight and the main reason why people get discouraged and quit. Look at the results you already have made. Do you want to back track and go the opposite way? I would think the answer would be no. Be proud of what you have accomplished and have that keep pushing you forward. I posted an article in the group about weight loss. Please read it. Trust me when I say the inches will come off. It's one day at a time.

As for eating clean. If the weekends are the worst for you then I would suggest eating clean the entire week. Look at it as another weekday. Do your workouts and have the same game plan you set for yourself during the week. You CAN do this.

You should be extremely proud of how much you have lost so far. If you have hit a wall with the weight. Try upping your caloric intake for a few days. That way it will trigger your system to burn the not so normal food you have taken in. I am not saying go on a binge of junk food, but eat more than you typically would for a few days and see if this helps.
