Hey everybody!
So it'll be another rest day in this crazy unplanned rest week. DH has appt after work, leaving me with both kids.
As for me, I'm glad to be taking this rest, as my Achilles had really been bothering me and I'm going to have to sort that out. However, DH is planning a biz trip to the States in April (son's Spring Break) when i was SUPPOSED to take a rest. He wants to plan it for then to help me, so I wouldn't have to drag lil girl out in the morning to take son to school. But, now tht I've taken this week as rest, I'd rather him travel NOT Spring Break b/c as a temporary single mom it'll be easier for me to do workouts when my son is in school *IF* I can get my daughter to cooperate with staying in the creche at the gym. My gym doesn't have one, but I learned they have another location with one. Now that I know about the creche, I should try it out. But I suppose necessity is the mother of invention, so I'll probably just wait til I need it. Or, it'll be a rest week then too.
Hope everyone has a great day. Wish I were getting to the gym today. Do an extra rep for me. ;-)0 -
It's my trainer day today - upper body tonight. Last night he kept forgetting to count and I wasn't counting either so I'm pretty sure I got in several extra reps for you Sherry. I'd finally ask "how many of these are we doing" and then he'd have me do a few more before letting me stop.0

I went to the gym today and I did 35 minutes of intervals on the elliptical totaling a distance of 4.31 miles!!! Then I successfully completed a Blast class which is step aerobics for an hour. Back to work tomorrow for five so I am going to be disciplined and get my workouts after work. I don't have the energy sometimes after a 12 hour shift but I am going to not make excuses and just do it!!
I weighed myself and I am happy to say I am under 145 pounds finally!! I don't weigh myself often but I just finished TOM so I was curious to see and I was 144.4lbs. I will weigh myself again in two weeks. Just take it one day of exercise and one meal at a time. If I look forward too much I get overwhelmed so week by week I am going to have a schedule and then see how close I stick to it!
Hope everyone has a great evening!0 -
Congrats Jules!
I find having a schedule helps me a lot. Working out is just part of my daily routine now which takes away the "should I or shouldn't I" debate.0 -
