So much for my sane place lol!!!
It's not like I have been pigging out, I swear! Saturday was a busy day, stressful and I let myself have some wine again. Sunday was a very belated birthday cake and brunch.
Sigh....I don't know. I wish I could face self deprivation right now but psychologically I just can't. I need to find a balanced way of eating where I feel like I have energy and get to enjoy life, but don't gain weight. I just can't bring myself to count calories right now. In retrospect this weekend I should have forgone the birthday cake, some of the drinking. Other than that I really didn't eat badly.
Got to s of exercise in the garden though. And Pilates tonight!

It really does matter if I have the supplies I need. got some red grapes for the sweetness yogurt and other things to make sure I stick to this this week.
Last week I felt really light headed and out of it a bit just to make the numbers for our weigh in. Thinking differently this week. I did buy 100% whole wheat deli flats Going to add this for lunch at work. to what ever protein I eat. It is 100 calories and I think this will help that foggy feeling.

Yah it's really easy to undereat if you are not careful, or just feel foggy from low carbs.
Giving myself some tough love. I clearly have a choice- I need to get a little uncomfortable if I am going to make a change. It would be so easy if I could just say I was happy at this weight, but I am not. So I need to fight a little harder! I would say realistically I am in cycle two- I need the beans!!!!

I feel like I finally have my head wrapped around moderation, for today anyway. Yesterday was a good eating day. The scale did not reward me but that's okay TOM is coming any day. I am counting calories as well.

Well, it's a fact, I can't lose weight while eating whole grains and beans. I feel great, my skin glows, digestion is good, but weight loss? Nope! Yesterday I ate a quinoa corn muffin and some chickpea tabbouleh salad. Boom gained 1.5 lbs.
I was counting calories too, i didnt go over 1800 gross, netted 1300 with all the gardening. I think starting next Monday it's going to be hardcore Dukan time. But I will stick around here so we can compare the difference in results
Although the last 17 days has been by NO means a 17dd cycle 1 lol. I don't want anyone reading this to confuse that oh no!
What's to be sure of, NO WINE this weekend. Seriously I need to resist this evening, although I know by 4:30pm I will be dying for my Friday glass!!!!

I am by no means on accelerate that is for sure....more like activate .. Activate ..eating more breads makes me stop dead lol. last night we didn't go out but my daughter came home from school, so she made a great salmon and veggies ...

Next week I am starting p90x3....for 90 days...30 minutes a day.
I know i will not be able to do just cycle one or I will feel like crap
I have liked the accountability and get lost in huge posts and prefer a small group.

Oh great luck to you on p90x! I have a tried a few of the workouts and it is no joke!! No way you can do that on 17dd, you should follow their guidelines on nutrition. There is a good accountability group on here.
I have also enjoyed the one on one, I think we have helped kickstart eachother a bit, so thank you!
Dukan diet is another low carb program. I did it last fall and lost quickly, if I hadn't been such a fool o er the past few months I would have kept it off. That's what I need right now, quick results to keep motivated. It's gonna be tough but worth it- clearly no wine on that plan lol.

My post cycle wrap up: I don't see this cycle as a failure, oh no not at all, because what it did was get me mentally back into a place where I am willing to work hard and sacrifice again. After months of zero motivation, I feel like I am back in the game. See you in the funny papers!
