7 Day Slim Down Fitness Challenge & Flex Friday Day#68

Ok, keeping it short and sweet today-here's our task!!

Fitness Challenge! Today is all about ISOMETRIC training. The goal is to see how long you can hold the position, so you will need some kind of timer (I just use my phone).

1. RECORD YOUR TIMES! Write them down so you can keep it handy and refer to it next time. Next time you do these, you'll want to meet or BEAT that time!

2. POST YOUR TIME in the comment thread of this post if you'd like to share! Remember you're only competing against YOURSELF, so don't judge yourself based on the others, YOU DID YOUR BEST, but it's good to see what's out there so you know where you are and where you can go.

3. HOLD THESE for as long as you can:
-Wall Squat, 90 degree
-Standard Plank
-Right Side Plank
-Left Side Plank

Modifications:
Beginner: You may not be able to do the 90 degree wall squat. Go as low as you safely can. Keep a chair nearby in case you need a support.
Expert: Do these as a circuit, 3x each with 30 second rest in between. For additional challenge, alternate extending a leg during wall squats, and opposite arm/leg for the planks.

    I did wall sits at the gym yesterday as a break between barbell squats. I love to hate them!
