Stay Focused

The weekend is here and I know a lot of us have worked hard all week and want to indulge a little. If you are one that has a cheat meal over the weekend then great. Treat yourself, but keep in mind the next day is strictly clean eating. If you need to get pen to paper and write out everything you have accomplished this week. Place this in a spot where you can see it on a constant basis. This will help keep you on track and focused on your big goal. Great job this week.

That is a great idea. I am going to do that this weekend. I tend to let the weekends go and a lot of the times don't track but this week after the what I lost this past week, to track everything this weekend and NO cheat meals. That just does me in. It seems to be ok if I do one during the week because I am more mindful I guess. So staying the straight and narrow for the weekend!!! I DON"T want to gain the weight I loss this week back!! I know a lot of it was because I was sick and not eating but still.....I don't need it back :laugh:0

Let me know how it all goes for you when the weekend ends.0 -
Oh boy, two teenagers in the house. I have to wait up for them when out. Needless to say the following day I get fatigued and start to pick. Good thing is I try to stay to nuts and fruit. Thanks to FP I try to keep calories in check. Trying to maintain focus.0

One of the biggest hurdles is staying aware of what is going into your mouth and you are keeping track. Great job. Being mindful is a huge step.0 -
I think this past weekend went a lot better than the past weekends. I was being very mindful of what I picked up to eat. I did enjoy a long john Saturday morning but kept it at that. I thought I would cave in on Saturday while at an event and get some nachos and a coke. Luckily we brought some healthy snack with us and so opted for a granola bar and bottle of water instead. :happy:0

Yippie Melissa,
I am so proud of you for bringing healthy snack options to the event you went to. See even with those temptations around you choose to look the other way. One step at a time. You are doing it and that is something to be proud of for sure.0
