Congrats and good luck! Remember to do what your surgeon tells you - sip water all day, get your protein in, and walk!0

Although you won't need it, GOOD LUCK! I'll be thinking of you tomorrow and wishing you the best experience in this life-style change and fast recovery..0

Wish you lot of success. You are going to be fine.0

Made it through! Had to stay in hospital for 2 nights. Doc found a hiatal hernia that needed to be repaired when he got in there. Now I'm just so sore. When did you all start feeling normal?0

How are you doing now. My surgery is coming up fast. I do this on April 9th.in the afternoon.0

Good to you, although you won't need it. You'll be so pleasantly surprised at how quickly you recover from this.0

Doing well just sore. Just hit the grocery store with my mom! Surprised myself!0

Sound like you are gonna be one of the lucky ones, I didn't feel normal for about six wks.0

I had mine sleeve on the 18th...no longer need pain meds but really would like something besides the these liquids. How are you doing?0

Congrats and good luck!0

Doing well DixieD79! Hating all the liquids also, I feel like I floating in them. The protein shakes (beneprotein and nestle carnation sugar free mix) the dietician wants me to follow are disgusting! Just trying to grin and bear it for 2 weeks. I can have like cream of wheat and strained oatmeal but I have no room left for anything else.0

Glad to hear you came through great! I would suggest looking around for some better protein shakes...there are a lot out there. For the first few months you'll need the shakes to get in a good amount of clean protein. I would look for ones that have 100% Whey Isolate...no blends.
Just google them or search the previous posts on this board to get some suggestions. :-)
Good luck!0
