Best scales to buy

Hello all! I'm from London and brand new to this, so please feel free to befriend me!
My food diary will be public and I will be logging on everyday and contributing as much as I can, time allowing, as I am determined to shed this weight and get fit and healthy again, so will need the support, and am more than happy to give support! I am looking to lose between 3-4 stone, so quite a mission, but I've done it before, so am sure I can do it again. I know it just takes focus, hard work and determination. Logging all food and exercise is such a great idea, and I can already see how helpful this is going to be.
Any tips on how best to use this site are welcome, for example is it more motivating to post photos of the pre-flab so can see progress? Would be mortifying but am thinking it might be incentive?!
Anyhoo, my main question concerns scales... what are the best ones to buy? There are so many out there I'm a bit lost... I already have some, but they were a rubbish cheap set from Argos that really don't seem that accurate. Any pointers appreciated!

I have a Salter set, with an analogue dial. They seem pretty accurate, but my eyes are not good, and it would have been better for me to have a digital set with LARGE numbers, I think. Having said that, as long as my longterm trend is downwards it doesn't matter that much.0

I moved to uni and bought these Salter digital scales

And so far they've been really good! You just step straight on and bam there's your weight. They have it in lbs, or st and lbs (our british fave haha) or in kg.
At home we have Weight Watchers digital ones and they are also very good - the two seem to match as well so it's good I'm not mistracking my weight :P0 -

These scales are reliable .. Good battery life too! Measures weight (In stone + Pounds, Pounds or KG) .. BMI, body fat, muscle and water0 -
I have a set of salter scaled both for me and for food weighing because the reviews have always been good. Main thing to remember is that whichever ones you go for they need to be on a flat, level, preferably hard surface (I don't trust the carpet feet) and if possible in the same place each time you weigh.0

I agree that keeping your scales on the carpet isn't very reliable. I used to have mine in my bedroom on a leftover bathroom floor tile to keep them flat.0
