Soreness... and lack of it

Hi,
I'd love to get your opinion on something. I've been kettlebelling for two weeks now. I've noticed my strength and fitness have improved quite noticeably already (things like carrying heavy bags with ease, running for trains in record time), and I've gone from swinging 8lbs to a more respectable 12lbs in that time. I work out three times a week, and the first few times I was really sore the next day, especially around my core (hooray!), but not so sore to prevent me swinging that ol' bell on my next workout day. The workouts started feeling easier and I wasn't sweating as much so I moved up to 9lbs and now 12lbs, which feels like a good challenge at the moment. The thing is, after working with the 12lbs yesterday I'm not sore today. At all. OK, maybe a bit of an all-over ache. I've just finished TOM and notice that my weight, body fat percentage and measurements have all stalled this week. Now, I know that's not abnormal, esp. during TOM, but that combined with the lack of soreness after most of last week's workouts has made me wonder if I'm doing it right?
I don't think I'm ready to move up in weight again quite yet. As I said, 12lbs is a good challenge for me right now. Is my body just getting used to it?

Probably just getting used to it. I swing 25 pounds and don't get sore anymore.0

I have been training with Kettlebells for about 2 years now - I use 16kg for everything and I don't get any noticeable soreness now....0

Thank you both!
It's my own fault for never sticking with weight bearing exercise long enough for my body to get used to it... Looking forward to getting stronger!0
