My name is Casey. I'm 29 years old, and I live in Austin, TX. I first learned about kettlebells about 10 years ago when I was a freshman in college. A friend of mine who had recently graduated from college and started putting on weight began using them to get back in shape. But I didn't make kettlebells part of my training…
Last comments on the thread seem like they are 3/4 years old. Anyone still active on this group?
The former heavyweight champion of the world will take on former four-division champion Roy Jones Jr. on November 28. The event is expected to remain at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California. Tyson was one of the most feared heavyweights in history, dominating the division over the late 1980s, becoming the…
I'm going to give it a shot. I'm brand new to kettlebells. Has anyone tried this program? I'd be curious to hear people's experiences with it, especially how your progression carries over to other facets of your life. I'm doing it to be stronger for martial arts training (Brazilian jiu jitsu, specifically).
Hi all I've just picked up my kettlebell from where it's been gathering dust for a long time. Keen to get back into the swings and wondered if anyone could share their routine and results. I'm a swimmer so am hoping to increase endurance and fitness - just did one set and feel very unfit!!!
Is there any way of entering kettle bells as an exercise on Myfitnesspal? I cannot find it on the list. Thanks.
Just curious if anyone is still active on here. I've been following Pavel T. since Simple and sinister came out, and I am a big fan of Geoff Nuepert as well. I've been using kettlebells for over 2 years now and have recently decided to get serious about the nutrition as well.
Hi I just purchased some kettle bells, I was introduced to them at the gym. I liked them so much better that the regular arm weights. But I have no clue on what types of exercises I can do with them. Any suggestions, I'm open to any and every option. It's all about exercise.
What better way to try and revive this group, then to celebrate the accomplishment of another woman completing the Iron Maiden Challenge. https://facebook.com/bestrongfirst/posts/1046698262016727
I finally plucked up the courage and managed to do 3 TGUs with a 16 kg bell on the right and 2 on the left (form was starting to get sloppy so I stopped. very proud of myself, I had a baby 4 months ago and was nervous as anything about the TGUs because a month after she was born, I really struggled to do just 1 with an 8kg…
