Had 2 wk break should I repeat last week completed?

I finished week 3 had to take a 2 week break due to death in family. Should I repeat week 3 or go onto week 4?

That's a good question. I was about to post something similar, but then I saw your post. I completed Wk 4 Day 2 last week, and didn't get my Day 3 in. Now, I am wondering if I should move on to Wk 5 or repeat Wk 4.

    Thanks for any advice!

Rate how you felt your last run. If you felt good and strong, then move on, if not then repeat.

Give your next scheduled run a go, and see how you feel. If you struggle big time, drop back. If you feel good, or it's the same sort of struggle expected with the increased time/distance push forward.

Given that you're only three weeks in I would suggest at least repeating week 3, unless you're already pretty fit. While the first three weeks aren't hugely demanding there are adaptations taking place in your system, and you'll find that the gains in the first three weeks will have subsided during the off period.

Clearly a death in the family is also a stressful period and you don't want to push too hard coming back into the running.

health warning on that, I'm prone to lower leg injuries so tend to be a bit more cautious about exacerbating that.

Thank you for all the great advice. I ended up doing Week 3 Day 3 felt great. Completed Week 4 Day 1 yesterday without any problems.
