^^^^Yes!!! Exactly what I need to read!

Today I did some dumbbell overhead presses and when I decided I could handle the weight okay, I added a squat, to do squat w/press. I get really confused by using kg weights here. I always feel like such a wimp, but when I do the math, I realize that I'm working with some fairly hefty weights (well, for ME anyway).

That'll probably be about it for today. I have parent-teacher meeting (report cards) today after school and we'll probably let our little ninja skip taekwon-do tonight to spend time with "Daddy". And I'll help him make sure he's getting everything packed and taken care of.

Have a great day. I am so, so sorry to hear that Winter is hanging in so tough for a couple of you. I'd seriously be angry too.

Sherry, I think you do a terrific job of squeezing in the exercise where you can.

I really love today's saying! It's something I really need to keep in mind when times get tough.

RunSmart this morning. My legs and thoghs are killing me after Tuesday's RunSmart focusing on the core but with plenty of legs stuff, last night's Metabolic Conditioning with lots of squats and lunges, and this morning's RunSmart focusing on the legs. I'm not doing my stair workout today. I'm going to do brisk walking on the flat, instead, during my breaks. Maybe I'll do some stretching or yoga before flyball tonight.

Laura I hope you're not too snowed in and that nothing is leaking into the house.

Hope you're doing well too, Marla.

I was reading today's thread starter thinking "Oh I like this!" ... and then I realized I'm the one who posted it. Having a really bad memory keeps things fresh anyway. LOL

The freezing drizzle started this morning then was already transitioning to snow pellets as I drove into work. The roads weren't awesome but I drove slow and it was okay. They've dropped snow totals for today to 4-7" but most of that is supposed to fall during the late morning & early afternoon so the drive home promises to be crappy. Supposed to quit snowing by midnight. There's the Sunday/Monday storm still on tap (currently 4-8" although that will likely change 10 times before Sunday), and then possibly a third storm Thursday/Friday next week. My eye surgery is scheduled for Friday next week so I'm going to be really disappointed if that gets snowed out.

Nice job getting some squats & weights in this morning Sherry! I love combining moves (like your squats/press) so you can get the most effective workout the most efficiently.

Donna your legs are getting quite a workout! Skipping stairs today is smart. The walk will hopefully break up the lactic acid and give you some relief.

Also Sherry just running after kids kept me thin when they were little so don't discount that!!!

I went to nia class, left early was out of it and over tired, didn't sleep much last night and shouldn't have gone. Need to listen to my body better.

Came across my fb feed and I immediately thought of Laura. Hopefully it can make you laugh at the ridiculousness of it all.

Today I did a 35 minute workout LUC 180 - (Lower Upper and Core) and Tae Kwon Do class - but I taught so not much work out there - but movement.

    Good job everyone.
