When my husband was overseas I quit smoking but I started eating more. my husband smokes as well, so when he came home it was easy to slip back into smoking again, it also cut back on my eating. however I don't want to start back smoking. I smoked my last one yesterday. Anyone have any advice on how not to get back in my eating habit again?? thank you for any advice.

  • Wish I knew an easy answer for you. I gained a lot of weight when I quit smoking and it is the only regret I have about stopping.

Try to find something you can do with your hands. Needle work like cross stitch, etc. is good because you don't want to get your hands messy with greasy chips (or something like that) and then get something on your project.

Congratulations on quitting. It is one of the best things you can ever do for yourself and for your family. Good luck.
