So although my goal was to do the 100 miles through workouts only, I pushed myself a little too far trying to get them all in before my trip the last week of this month. As a result, I pulled a tendon in my leg, and I was not able to workout past normal day to day activity. However, when I count up my steps recorded over the week by my bodymedia armband and convert it to miles, I have walked 12.7 miles worth of steps over the past 8 days, putting me over the 100 mile challenge. Considering I had never done more than 45 miles in a single month before (workouts), I am very happy with the 88 miles I did in workouts plus adding in the daily steps for the last week.
