My day is Wednesday since it helps me recover from the weekend. That's when I'll be logging.

    That is a good reason.

I'm slightly different. Since February, I have been weighing myself everyday so that I can keep track of the fluctuations in my weight. It also helps me to stay in control and not to freak out when I coincidentally 'gain water weight' on a weigh-in day.

I weigh every day too, and loge it in a iphone app called A+ weight which gives me the averages for the week and month. but we can share it with the rest or our friends once a week

I can see that being helpful. I guess my problem is that if I weigh myself everyday I'm going to get neurotic about the number I see. So I keep it to one day XD.
    That is a good reason.

Really? Cool. I'm doing something right XD.

Oh, great that we're in the same boat on this too! I just use a simple excel sheet to track.

Thanks, Kathy...I had to babysit today,...which is ALWAYS so much fun for me. I just got home from much needed grocery shopping...so here are my stats. Not sure how to do lean and fat mass, but my Omron...has been fluctuating big time...Oh well...I *will* take one of those body scans again...but probably when I get to my goal weight.

I am glad you had us take our body measurements...lol...now I will have them for posterity :)

    March 31, 2014

    I log on Mondays
    3/31

    CW: 118.2 lbs.

    Body Fat %: 37% (High to Obese...Wow)

    Fat Mass: 43.7 lbs

    Lean Mass: 74.5 lbs

    Bicep: 10 3/4"

    Chest: 33 "

    Abs: 29" (?)

    Hip: 35.5"

    Thigh: 19.5"

    Calf: 13 3/8"

There I did it...lol ... with the building of muscle and getting rid of bodyfat... it will be interesting :)

    Thanks :)

Ok, just weighed and measured myself this morning. It looks as though I've been measuring my hips incorrectly...so I've had false hope over the last few weeks that I've lost any body fat :grumble:

    Here are my results:

CW: 127.2 (down 1.8 pounds from last week)
Neck: 13 (no change from last week)
Waist:29 (no change from last week)
Hips: 39 (I think I was reading a little higher and had 37.5. In reviewing videos it seems I was wrong.)
Thigh: 23(lost .5 inches from last week. I hope.)
    BF%:29.9 (UUUGH WHYYYYY I thought I was at 28  )

I reeeeally can't wait for tomorrow to hopefully get the blessing to work out again. Since I'm losing weight but seeing no loss in inches, does that mean I'm losing muscle?

I haven't experienced any change in my weight for the past 3 weeks. plus, ever since i started working out i've jumped up from 116 to 120-121. I don't mind the increase as long as I lose some inches(I haven't yet).

The first weeks of working out you will put weight on but once you get in to it you will see the scale moving even if its not by much. As long as you are working out and eating clean you will feel and see the difference :)

  • Gained 2kgs!!!

Haha, not sure why. Could be due to all the carbs I've been eating, but 2kgs is a huge swing.

See what happens next week with less carbs.
