March 31st Weigh-in and then April Fool's Day

Well shoot! I had this nice loss all ready to go last week and then poof, I got cocky and turned it into a one pound gain. It is becoming quite clear to me that the close one gets to the green BMI zone, the harder it gets and the more exercise calories that need to be left on the table. I am definitely on a diminishing returns curve right out of my ECON 101 text book. I'm going to weigh in tomorrow morning and log it after a solid workout tonight. I am still bewildered by how my weight could fluctuate so wildly this week--really more than I've seen since I started all this. Weird.

We have some tremendous success stories from our April Fool Challenge, foremost being Shmu who is now at 160% of goal (and his original goal was 25 so he earns extra points for level of difficulty). Bravo! We had lots of folks drop off just like I predicted at the beginning. Too bad, the only way make progress is to stick with it--I hope they just got bored with the challenge and not their personal programs.

Many have already signed up for the sequel (Independence Challenge) starting on April 4th, if you haven't and want to it's not too late. Same tune, slightly different key.

    03/24 = 130.4 lbs (1.0 lb loss)
    March Totals = 2.4 lb loss

    April Fool's Weigh-in! = 130.4 lbs (0 lb loss)
    Challenge Totals = 7.8 lb loss

    FINAL WEIGH IN!! I made it! I'm happy I stuck through this challenge and made my goal weight for the challenge! A lot of you did a really great job whether you made your goal for this challenge or not! You should be proud of yourselves!!
