Well that's it on the April Fool Challenge. Thanks for joining the group. We dropped a few hundred pounds and stuck with it. Special thanks to Shmu for taking the spreadsheet to the next level for us. I've enjoyed it--to those in the Independence Challenge, see you Friday. Mule out.
So, if you are like me, you have not yet reached your ultimate goal weight. Or, like some of our current group, you are starting maintenance and need that extra support to keep you on track and lock in that new and fabulous physique. Many have already expressed interest in a follow-up to our foolish challenge. I concur.…
Well shoot! I had this nice loss all ready to go last week and then poof, I got cocky and turned it into a one pound gain. It is becoming quite clear to me that the close one gets to the green BMI zone, the harder it gets and the more exercise calories that need to be left on the table. I am definitely on a diminishing…
Our next weigh in is Monday, then if you are still ten or twenty pounds from your goal like me, you can also do our final weigh-in on Tuesday, April First and hopefully squeeze in under the wire. Have a great, low calorie weekend! Mule:smokin:
I missed last week's weigh-in. I usually check in on my phone, and I don't know how to get to the groups with the MFP app. BUT I'm back! Challenge Starting weight: 170 Challenge Goal weight: 163 (this is my new goal) Ultimate Goal weight 140 1/1: 170 1/6: 169 1/13: 166.2 1/20: 168 1/27: 168 2/3: 167.2 2/10: 165 2/17: 168.8…
If you are in for another go, just search the groups page for "independence challenge" and join up. Shmu has out done himself on the IT support!!
March: 3/3: 150.2 (-0.8) 10/3: 149.2 (-1) 17/3: 148.2 (-1) Liking maintenance, hope this continues! Now on week 7 of Les Mills, it's a 8.5 week programme for the first round so thinking about what's next...
After a few weeks of going backward, I am having a better week. I've been on the elliptical every day and my calorie intake is under control. I also hit a strength goal this week: I squatted over 200 lbs for the first time, 5x5. I'll definitely feel it later.
As expected, I backslid a bit this week. The hotel/pub life is just not the place to lose weight. I think I recovered some over the weekend. I'm highly motivated for a good week this week. I have to sing Beethoven's Mass in C three times this next weekend with the Houston Symphony Chorus, that's good for a pound at least.…
I'm back  Have switched to maintenance and will revise my goal on the spreadsheet but generally feel much better for doing so. Still aiming to keep up with my exercise plans, stick to daily calories (albeit to what seems like a crazy high total number now) and to log everything. This weekend: Today - quiet one…
