I missed last week's weigh-in. I usually check in on my phone, and I don't know how to get to the groups with the MFP app. BUT I'm back!

Challenge Starting weight: 170
Challenge Goal weight: 163 (this is my new goal)
Ultimate Goal weight 140

1/1: 170
1/6: 169
1/13: 166.2
1/20: 168
1/27: 168

2/3: 167.2
2/10: 165
2/17: 168.8
2/24: 168.2 * I'm adjusting my challenge goal weight. I'm not losing as fast as I used to. Gotta adjust my intake and exercise as well.

3/3: 167.8
3/10: 166.2
3/17: 165.6
3/24: 163.6

    Net zero this week. Considering the hectic week I've had I guess I can't complain too loudly. I've got another week of evening rehearsals this week so I'm going to try to get up for the gym--this is not in my nature. Bravo to Hopie, she is doing a half marathon and the training is melting her away.

    We have one more full week and then we are done! (Of course, that just means setting a new goal!)

    SW = 167 (01/2013)
    CW = 138.2 (01/01/2014)
    UGW: 125 (by 12/31/2014)

    March Totals = 2.4 lb loss

    Very surprised to see a loss this week. This weekend was a big party weekend in Holyoke, MA to celebrate St. Patty's day! Alcohol consumption was high, but so was walking around, so maybe they balanced out. I completed my first race on Saturday and it was a lot of fun =)

    2/17: 258
    2/24: 255

    March 17: 266

    March 31:

    I finally buckled down and had a good solid week and all the water weight just came off. I'm still not down to my pre-cruise weight, but I'm close. It's funny: this is my third challenge and the third one where I will not make my goal. They've also helped me lose over 100 lbs, so it's working on that level. :)

    Holy Cow! 10 pounds in a week--between you and Shmu you are losing more than the rest of us combined. I am resolved to buckle down as you two are making me feel like a self-indulgent couch potato with a food addiction.

    I'm in total agreement about the positive support of these challenges, for me they are fun and the mutual accountability helps (sometimes :embarassed: ) keep focus on the goal.

    PS: Bravo KMasz on the race--great way to maintain!

    3/24: 129 (-1)

    Reached goal, although I won't celebrate until next week, I'm afraid it's just a trick of the scale! I'm going to try and push myself this week, knowing I have family fun night on Fri. and will over indulge that night. Hoping to lose another lb. this next week, or at least maintain.

    Congrats to all the maintainers and losers this week!!! Let's all put in extra effort during this last week!!!

    I'm looking forward to the next challenge and may consider, adding a fitness element as well as the weight.

    Agreee. I've said this earlier. The goal is just a number. Any loss is great. For me, the biggest benefit of this challenge is to keep me in check on weekends. I know I'll have to weigh myself on Monday morning.

    Congrats on the race. I still didn't work up the courage to sign up for a race. I decided to run a 10K in April with my cousin. I'm waiting for him to sign up before I do so. I don't know why the thought makes me so nervous. How was your race compared to just running? What was the distance of the race?

    Yes, my strategy of gaining 13 lbs over two weeks so that I could lose 10 lbs in a single week was executed perfectly! :)

    I'm late!!! Forgot yesterday.

    SW = 152
    CW = 149 (1/1/14)
    UGW: 125
    April Fool Challenge GW: 139

    March Weigh-ins:
    3/3 = 145 (+0.3)
    3/10 = 143.8 (-1.2)
    3/17 = 144 (+0.2)
    3/24 = 143.5 (-0.5)
    March total = -1.5

    One more week to make a difference! Maybe I can lose one more half pound. I reset my calorie goal to 0.5 pounds per week because I was going over every day at 1 pound per week.
