No surprise. I've been slightly over on calories every day for the past week! I won't reach my goal of 139 by the end of the challenge. I'm hoping for 142 at this point0 -
This is really a tough slog for me in the final 15 pounds, every pound loss is a big battle. I've been feeling weak off and on and I was just ravenous last night but I held on. It's really hard not to cheat and I have to admit that I was able to lose even though I had an 1860 calorie dinner at one point in the week. The running is helping in that, burning 1000 in a run gives some elbow room on the intake side of the equation. I'm 13.5 from goal weight, it's going to take well into summer to get there unless by some miracle, the plateau collapses.
I'm not alone in the struggles I know, some are bouncing up and down (except Shmu of course). Keep after it and revise your program if you are stuck (e.g. Cathy). Keep going, we are almost to the finish. Happy St Pat's!0 -

Weighed this morning and I am down another 2 pounds, so I am at 196 and 22 pounds lost.
I have achieved my goal for this challenge but I am continuing to hit it hard, as I am already working on my second goal weight.

I had another great week with a loss of 3 pounds.
Yesterday was by far my hardest day of our challenge. We celebrated the Purim Holiday. While most of our holidays feature lots of good food, Purim is about food, candy, cake and lots of wine. I have a much easier time when the holidays and festivities are structured. Purim starts with a meal in the evening and continues with a full day of food and partying. To top it off, we go to my sister for the day meal. Tons of food, wine and other goodies. I was able to stay away from all cake and cookies and stay within my calorie limit (I came close).0 -
No surprise. I've been slightly over on calories every day for the past week! I won't reach my goal of 139 by the end of the challenge. I'm hoping for 142 at this point
I wouldn't fixate on the actual goal number. It's really just an arbitrary number. I see the challenge more as a weekly weigh in with the accountability/support of all the participants.0 -

Phew!!! I was just happy to stay the same. Today wasn't a good eating day, but I had fun with all my blind/visually impaired friends from Braille Institute. We meet once a month for lunch and I have no self control. Today, I ate the bread from the bread basket, with butter!!!. At least, I only ate half my sandwich. Feeling kind of sluggish at the moment. I'll try to get on the elliptical, but I don't know how much success I'll have. I'm anxious to watch, Fiddler on the Roof, maybe I'll put it on and only watch while I'm moving. That should motivate me.
Well done to all of you who lost this week!!! Keep up the good work!!! To the rest of us, Let's get ourselves moving and find something else to do with our mouths, besides filling them with food. Note to self: Talk more, eat less!!!! And move,. move, move!!!0 -
I must've still been in vacation mode yesterday, 'cause I didn't think to weigh. I had gained last week, before I went to the beach in SC and ate all week, and expected to have gained a few pounds this week. I was pleasantly surprised however, and I have lost a little since I last weighed in a week ago. Yippee. Must've been the walks on the beach. I did still have to add a few ounces to my "March loss" column, but it could've been worse. And we saw alligators, dolphins, egrets, herons, and anhingas, and ate a lot of good food. Everyone should get away in March! Anyway, I won't even come close to goal, but it's been very inspiring to watch the progress you all have made!!!0
