30 minutes a day, this I know I can do!

I know this is one challenge that i could actually succeed at if I put my mind to it! Generally, I have a half hearted stab at a challenge, give up and then feel a failure. 30 minutes a day I can do. so today I've walked my 2 dogs, albeit at a slow 3 miles an hour pace - they are mini bichons so not as speedy as a bigger more powerful dog, for 45 minutes and, wait for it, 52 minutes on the recumbent exercise bike, total of 97 minutes moderate exercise.
Thanks for starting the group! When i feel as if I'm failing at something elese, i can call here for motivaiton cos if you succeed at one challenge, then surely you ought to be able to succeed at another??

I feel the same way as you do. I also have two dogs (red heeler cross (4yr) and a jack russel (13yr).
Tonight I am going to walk them for 20 minutes and then do my workout dvd for 25 minutes.
I'm glad I decided to join this group :happy:

I walked for an hour this morning. I really need the motivation to get moving every day and now that the weather in upstate NY is beginning to look like Spring it is easier to get out of the house. I have 40-50 pounds that I want to lose and I want to lose as much as I can before the hot weather gets here.

This is something I have been waiting for. I have been struggling to finish the last 10 pounds and it seems like FOREVER in loosing weight. Instead of loosing a pound a week I am now loosing .6 pounds every two weeks. This exercise period of 30 min everyday should take my mind off of watching the scale and instead watching my muscle tone. Thanks for starting it. If someone could friend me to help me be motivated that would be great.0
