Hi all,
Would any of you have a recommendation for a power rack for home use? Budget is 300'ish (prefer under 350). Height restriction: about 7 - 7.5 feet.
Sorry, there was a thread some time ago, but i seem to be having trouble locating it.
Thanks in advance.

Best way is to search craigslist in your area. Way cheaper than new and usually the stuff is in great condition0

Me and my hubs built one for 200ish. I love it! Here is the link to the plans:)

Thank you all.
In case it's useful to others, came across this link after posting : http://bodybuilding.shoutwiki.com/wiki/Power_Racks
Not sure about the quality of the information0 -
I've got a 3x3 BodySolid cage that I've been pretty happy with. If you can find a deal on it, it might be near the top end of your price range. They offer a lighter duty (2x2, I think) version that would probably be fine too, and it's $100 cheaper, so I'm betting it would be right in your price range.0

I will be buying this tomorrow (hopefully). The safety bars and hooks can be used on the back of the uprights for squats and OHP.

Of course, the barbell and weights will be another $200.
You can try Craigslist for something cheaper. Perhaps the people in your area will be more willing to respond to your emails. I had no luck there myself.0 -
Craigslist netted me a good power rack, nice barbell, 310 lbs of iron, a bench and a second cheap barbell for $350. The rack was well used but still in great shape. Not sure what can go wrong with them. New, all that would have been $700 for the cheapest stuff you could find. Still using it and the only new thing I want is a PL bar from Rogue.0
