I use MFP to track my MACROS. I even used a Macro Enhancement that allows me to put exact grams of each macro as opposed to percentages. Bottom line is . . . at end of day after tracking I'll have let's say 12 carbs, 7 fats and -4 protein BUT it will say I have 188 calories left? With carbs and protein being 4g and fat being 9g - I should have 95 left. I realize that not every food has the MACROS listed perfectly but should my goal be to hit the calories?? or the MACROS?? THANKS!!

Yeah, its screwy. I did the same enhancement, but also set my calorie goal at 0, so I'm always over lol! I only care about hitting my macros at the end of the day.

Haha good idea. Only issue is I'm trying to "bulk" and I want to make sure I'm hitting my calories :) Just not sure which is more reliable, the cal count or the macro count.

Just hit your macros.....mfp is always screwy!!....do the math and you'll see that your calories are right where they should be.
