My revelations - what I think may help me

I got so obsessed with numbers and counting and calories, that I've really taken away what makes a good meal plan or lifestyle. It's just clicking to me today. The reason I got started with MFP was to be healthy! And cut the junk out. Then I obsessed over calories and numbers. I got too low and barely ate, now I'm binging like crazy 1-2 per week! This is silly. I need to get back to basics.

1) i need to follow the breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack meal plan.
2) I need to remember which foods are GOOD for you.

oatmeal, egg whiles, fresh fruit, fresh veggies, beans, lentils, less processed foods, whole grain. Instead of eating all day, this plan will help. It also will help with the "normalcy" of what I'm trying to get to. I want to be comfortable with food. I want to be like everyone else.

I completely get what you're saying, and I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say, this happens more often than you think. Good for you for re-focusing on health and being kind to your body.

    Best of luck :)
  • Exactly! It is difficult to do that. Today I have eaten three smallish meals as I have snacked too much and had to restrain from binging too... It's VERY hard to be patient
