It depends on how much it is raining, I live in a low lying area, so it doesn't take much rain for the streets to start flooding. If it isn't a hard rain, I love it.

Rain doesn't bother me. You know what weather I dislike the most to run in? Wind. I hate running when it's really windy. It just plain sucks. I do it anyway of course, but I hate it.

Don't mind running in the rain - except that I wear glasses, and I bleedin' hate not being able to see properly either because I have to leave them at home, or because they don't have windscreen/windshield wipers on them!

Yeah, very true. I just take them off. Everything becomes a huge blur, but it's better than having rain on my glasses which irritates my OCD. :o)

Totally agree! I have daily disposable contacts that I only ever wear for races and long runs. (Well, and roller coasters and the beach) I can't stand not being able to see while I'm running!

I LOVE that you used roller coasters as an actual activity that would require contact lenses.

I really like running in the rain. To be honest, being from Britain the last couple of warm weekends have really been tough. I've gotten so used to running in the cold and rain that the slightest bit of warmth and I don't know how to cope!

Runs 10 miles and under--I usually enjoy it, especially on trails.
Runs over 10 miles--it gets old. Quickly :)

Portlander here, but I somehow miraculously avoid running in the rain most of the time. I like it if I'm prepared, but if I get caught off guard I hate it. I need a hat to keep the rain off my face, and I prefer a really light long sleeve shirt.

I am not a fan of it, especially if it is cold. I'm going to try to get better about running outdoors in all weather this year, but we will see. I did a half marathon race in cold, wind and rain and had my hip lock up at mile 10...those last 3 miles were a walk, with occasional jogging portions mixed in. Completely torpedoed my time, nearly fell down a flight of stairs going back to the car, and felt like the hip socket was bruised for a week.

I ran my first 10K race a few weeks ago in a steady drizzle. Temperature was cool but not too cold, and the wind was fairly light. Lots of fun.

I ran a 5K last Saturday in the pouring rain. About 80 other runners were as crazy as me. Some left after they decided it was raining too hard to be safe. It was actually fun! I couldn't wear my glasses and the streets were a mess with puddles. My earbuds kept falling out from the rain hitting the side of my face.
