Did you eat the breakfast you planned?
Did you like it?
Did it satisfy your hunger?
Does it support your health goals?
If you said no to one of these, rethink what breakfast you'd like to eat regularly. If you said yes to all of these questions, log it on MFP, then hit "tools" "remember this meal" give it a name and save it. Congratulations!
Most people eat the same stuff a lot. Your favorite number on the fast food meal, the morning bagel, muffin, whatever. The same toppings from the same pizza place. Why? Habit. One mindless non-choice after the other, getting you fat an extra few hundred calories a day for years. You can use the same tactic to slim you down. The same bran muffin, or bowl of oatmeal, or whatever mindlessly chosen out of habit, getting you slimmer a few hundred calories a day. Not much effort, if you make the change easy to make, and stick with it long enough to make it a habit. It makes the diet change easy, and the calorie counting easy.
Check in and let the group know how things went. Last question:
Did you drink 2.5 (measured) cups of water with your breakfast?
Did you like it?
Did it satisfy your hunger?
Does it support your health goals?

I did.
Did you like it?
I enjoyed most of it, but the tartness of unsweetened graoefruit will take some getting used to.
Did it satisfy your hunger?
Yes, I feel full.
Does it support your health goals?
Grapefruit are very powerful - so much that doctors warn about drug interactions with grapefruit. This is a case of making your food your medicine.
And, I forgot to drink the 2.5 cuos of water. I'll get to that right away.0 -
