original weight: 165
current weight: 164
Goal weight: 130
I got in a snowmobile accident last week (nothing too serious but haven't been able to work out at all this week). I think starting next week my ankle will be good enough to get walking again. Gotta focus more on better eating.
Nice work everyone! All your numbers are really motivating!0 -
Back on the losing track.
Start: 187 (for weeks)
4/11: 185 (YEAH!)0 -
I tend to bounce up or down by two pounds. This week I was all over the place. Up two, down one, etc. At weigh-in I was down .2 pounds. So truth be told, this week I have just been maintaining my original weight. I have actually been doing that for awhile now, so something has to change. This week I plan to make better food choices, not just stay in my calorie zone , but choice healthier foods, more vegetables and pushing myself more when I workout. Hopefully by next weigh-in my two pound bounce will be in a lower bracket.0

SW: 194 12/7/13
CSW: 129
GW: 125
April:
4/4: 129
4/11: 129 (0)
I was happy to stay the same. I've been eating anything and everything and treating low blood sugars with lots of sweet treats. Time for an adjustment in Insulin and a crack down on my eating.
Great job guys!!! Thanks for the inspiration!!!0 -

Bit late to the game as I had a busy week, but here's my April losses so far:
Highest weight: 107kg (236lb)
Weight in March 2014 (started using MFP): 104kg (229lb)
Starting challenge weight: 102kg (225lb)
April loss so far: 1kg
Current weight:101kg (222.5lb)
Can't wait to be below 100kg, as my BMI will go from obese to overweight! (Small victories )0 -
Are weekly weigh ins required? I feel like I can quickly become obcessed w/ the scale, and I am trying to avoid that as much as possible....is month weigh in ok?0

There is no hard rule but I would urge you to weigh in weekly. There's a difference between obsession and appropriate feedback. Just my opinion but it seems like an entire month without some feedback as to whether you are on track or not is too long. I personally believe that seeing the actual number on the scale has a big psychological impact--it is very easy to rationalize our way back to the original behaviors that brought us to MFP in the first place.0 -

I appreciate your feedback. I will kick this around in my head for a little bit. I currently just judge being on the right path by how my clothes are fitting, etc. I agree about the impact of the scale staring you in the face, but sometimes I get overly anxious when the numbers dont drop as quickly as I might like....which leads itself to unhealthy tactics, which inevitably lead me back to fat. I'm a work in progress I will give it a month, and then maybe work more towards weekly...thanks again though!0 -
I'm a part of an Easter challenge that culls your stats if you don't weigh in and put your info in the spreadsheet weekly. I'm glad this group isn't going to do that because sometimes it just slips our minds. On the other hand, I thought that was part of being in a challenge group. The weekly weigh-ins and the accountability that it brings to the table?0
